How to: Change the amount of desktop area displayed.
Solution:
Double-click the 'Display' icon and change the desktop area on the 'Settings' tabbed page.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)

3) Double-click 'Display'. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box appears.)

4) Change the amount of desktop area displayed:
a) Click the 'Settings' tab.
b) Move the slider in the 'Desktop area' section to the right or the left. (An example of the desktop size appears in the sample monitor.)
c) Click 'Apply'.
d) Click 'OK' when the 'Display Properties' prompt appears for the new desktop settings to take effect.
